A Collab with Lolli and Pop Shoppe: Massage Candles

Recently, I had the delightful opportunity to collaborate with Lolli and Pop Shoppe, a fantastic small business specializing in handcrafted goods. For this project, they provided three of their luxurious massage candles, and in exchange, I delivered six professionally styled images for their website and social media. It was a perfect exchange, highlighting the benefits of collaborative content creation for small businesses.

Lolli and Pop Shoppe sought natural, true-to-color product photography with props like wood slices, florals, herbs, and fruits, all within a bathroom or bedroom setting. They gave me creative freedom, and I aimed to capture the essence of their products in a lifestyle context. Consequently, I created a “bedroom” scene using a faux bed and end table, incorporating natural elements I had on hand. I used a palette of creams, browns, and beiges, accented with greens from plants and a touch of purple from lavender. Cotton balls and the included match jars added to the natural, calming aesthetic. Ultimately, I delivered two images per candle, showcasing their beauty and functionality.

Firstly, let’s delve into the magic of a massage candle. These aren’t your ordinary candles; they’re designed to transform into a warm, nourishing oil, perfect for massage therapy.
