Tobbie is a good friend of my husband’s and he started his own business this past year called The Handyman Helms L.L.C this past year. His company is an agricultural service-based business where he provides fence and farm maintenance. He does a lot of his marketing on Facebook and word of mouth but needed some professional images to have handy to show part of what his company offers. We scheduled a personal branding mini-session at W&H Performance Horses in Lake Odessa, Michigan.

His goal for this session was to include photos of fence cleanup, fence repair, and tractor repair and he also wanted to include photos of his kids, since Tobbie is very family-oriented.

My favorite part of this session was getting to hang out with the horses a bit! They were so friendly and very interested in the camera. While we were getting photos around them, it was hard not to be photo-bombed by the horses! They were also very friendly with the kiddos.

For privacy reasons, I’ve only included photos of Tobbie, but we did incorporate his kids in the photos as much as possible. Here are just a few of my favorite images from The Handyman Helms’ branding session.

Personal branding mini-sessions are a great place to start if you’re new to getting photos taken for your business. They are low-cost and low-risk and they give you a feel of what type of images you’ll be getting. If you’re hesitant about committing to a full branding session, this is the best place to start.
